A Netflix subscription in Morocco costs more than it did a few months ago: the platform raised its Moroccan prices in early September 2026. The good news is that there are simple ways to keep watching your series in 4K without blowing your budget. Here is the official Netflix price in Morocco for every plan, what each one really includes, and how to pay less in dirhams.

Official Netflix price in Morocco for each plan in 2026

Since 2 September 2026, Netflix has applied new prices for Moroccan subscribers. The Essentiel plan went from 37 to 45 DH per month, and the Standard plan from 65 to 80 DH per month. The Premium plan, the only one that gives access to 4K, sits at the top of the range.

Netflix plan Official monthly price (for reference only, October 2026) Maximum quality Simultaneous screens
Essentiel 45 DH HD (720p) 1
Standard 80 DH Full HD (1080p) 2
Premium 115 DH 4K Ultra HD + HDR 4

These amounts are for reference only: Netflix can change its prices at any time, and your bank may add fees on international online payments. Always check the price shown in your account before you confirm.

What these numbers mean over a year

Over twelve months, the gap grows fast. A Premium plan paid every month comes to 1,380 DH a year at the official price. Even the Standard plan goes over 900 DH a year. For a student or a family already paying for Spotify, YouTube or an internet box, the bill gets heavy.

Essentiel, Standard or Premium: which Netflix plan for which use?

Before looking for a cheaper option, ask yourself what you really need.

  • Essentiel: enough if you watch alone, mostly on a smartphone. On a big TV, 720p HD quickly shows its limits.
  • Standard: a good middle ground for a couple watching on a Full HD TV and a phone at the same time.
  • Premium: a must if you have a 4K Smart TV (Samsung, LG, TCL, Hisense...) and want to enjoy series shot in Ultra HD and HDR. It is also the only plan that allows four screens at once.

Many Moroccan homes now own a 4K TV, often bought for football matches. Paying for an HD plan on a 4K screen means missing what makes the difference on productions like the big original series or nature documentaries.

Netflix 4K in Morocco: what you need to enjoy it

Having a 4K account is not enough. To actually see the picture in Ultra HD, four conditions must be met:

  1. A 4K-compatible screen: a recent Smart TV, or a 4K TV connected to a compatible box (Android TV, Fire TV Stick 4K, Apple TV 4K).
  2. A fast enough connection: Netflix recommends a stable speed of at least 15 Mbit/s for 4K. Fibre from Maroc Telecom, Orange or inwi is more than enough; on ADSL or shared 4G, the picture may drop back to HD.
  3. Content available in 4K: not every title is. Type "4K" in the Netflix search bar to see the list.
  4. The right setting: in the profile's playback settings, choose "High" rather than "Auto" if your connection allows it.

On a smartphone the difference is less visible: 4K really makes sense on a big living-room screen.

How to pay less for Netflix in Morocco

1. Choose the right official plan

If you watch alone on your phone, the Essentiel plan is still the cheapest way to subscribe directly. The problem: it limits quality and requires a bank card that accepts international payments, which not everyone has. We explain this in our guide to paying for Netflix without a bank card in Morocco.

2. Use a shared profile in 4K

This is the option MySplit offers: instead of paying for a Premium account on your own, you get your own profile on a Netflix 4K account, with your history, your recommendations and your PIN code. You enjoy Premium quality for a fraction of the price.

Duration MySplit Netflix 4K price Quality Payment
1 month 59 DH 4K Ultra HD Bank transfer

The MySplit Netflix offer is monthly: you renew only if you keep watching, with no long commitment. So you can compare 59 DH per month directly with the 45 DH a month of the official Essentiel plan, but with 4K. All the details are on the Netflix 4K subscription page.

3. Group your subscriptions in a bundle

If you already pay for something else, bundles are often the best deal:

How a Netflix order works on MySplit

The process was designed around Moroccan habits, with no bank card required:

  1. Choose the duration on the offer page and confirm your order.
  2. Pay by bank transfer (for example CIH Bank).
  3. Send a screenshot of the receipt on WhatsApp.
  4. The team checks the payment and quickly sends your access details: email, password, profile name and PIN code, during opening hours.

You can then follow your order on the order tracking page. To understand in detail how subscription sharing works, read our complete MySplit guide.

Good habits for a profile that works smoothly

  • Only use the profile assigned to you.
  • Do not change the email, the password or the account settings.
  • Do not create a new profile and do not delete other people's profiles.
  • If an unusual message appears on screen, contact support on WhatsApp instead of clicking at random.

Access is guaranteed for the whole paid period. If a problem occurs, support fixes it (replacement profile or account) or compensates you. For extra peace of mind, the Garantie+ option offered at checkout gives additional protection, with a refund in MySplit credit plus a bonus.

Official sharing or a MySplit profile: the differences to know

Let's be clear: a MySplit profile is not a Netflix account in your name. You do not manage the billing or the account settings. In return, you do not need an international card, you pay in dirhams, and you enjoy 4K at a small price.

If you want to manage your own account yourself (change plans, add profiles, download on many devices), the official subscription bought directly is still the right choice. If your priority is to watch your series in good quality at the best price, a shared profile is often the more sensible option.

Our verdict

With the September 2026 increase, Netflix Premium at the official price becomes a real expense for many Moroccan households. Our advice:

  • You watch on a 4K TV: get a Netflix 4K profile on MySplit, and renew it each month as you like.
  • You also like films and sport on Prime Video: the Netflix 4K + Prime Video Bundle at 89 DH a month is the best value.
  • You want to manage your own account: stay on the official plan that suits your screen.
